Carly Van der Meer has gained a wealth of experience working in top salons for almost 15 years. Beginning her career in her home town Bowral in the Southern Highlands, Carly has spent the last decade hairdressing in Sydney. After 5 years in Sydney, her creative talent pushed her to her next career breakthrough; opening her own salon VANDERMEER HAIR in Surry Hills, Sydney. 

In addition to her salon experience, Carly has developed a strong passion for editorial, and has been able to work extensively in the fashion industry. She has spent substantial hours styling hair for high end fashion photoshoots, fashion weeks and industry events. Styling hair for designers including CHANEL, Toni Maticevski, By Johnny, KIT X, Alice McCall, Di$count Universe, Akira, Ginger and Smart, Christopher Esber and Albus Lumen. 

Working from her hair salon in Surry Hills, Sydney allows Carly to provide a customised and boutique hair care plan for each of her brides. She is highly qualified in all aspects of hairdressing and hair styling and can work with brides to achieve their perfect hair leading up to their big day.
