We will always look upon the wedding of Annika and Dion with fond memories. From the second that Annika took her first step toward Dion we were greeted by a smile so big and beautiful it touched the hearts of everyone there. Their happiness was palpable and infectious.
You can see the pure joy captured by Photographer Andy Gough in the exquisite Glenloch Gardens at Tambourine Mountain. The scenery was so breathtaking we could have been standing in the french country side. It was also the very first time a wedding ceremony had been held at this location, which of course made it even more special for Annika and Dion's guests.
Annika's classic and elegant style suited the choice of a deep plum lip which worked ever so beautifully with her fair skin and light blonde hair. This plum colour was also picked up in the bridesmaids dresses, the flowers and the grooms bow tie.
"The lip had to have a warm undertone of berry as it would have looked to harsh for her fair complexion otherwise" says makeup artist Casey Gore. "I applied a soft golden wash across the eyes for some subtle luster and most importantly made sure Annika's skin looked fresh, glowing and lit from within."
Annika wanted a beautiful soft vintage wave, which further enhanced her elegant and classic look while working in harmony with the garden setting. Casey reflects that "with the intention of a subtle hair change, we brushed out the wave for a more relaxed S shape to suit an evening filled with drinks, laughs and most importantly dancing."
Lastly, we love that Annika's lace gown by LOVER added a modern edge to the look with it's structured fit and shorter fishtail hem.
Annika and Dion created the most special day filled with real old fashioned love. We were so proud to be apart of it. We hope that these images bring you beautiful inspiration for your TFM wedding day.
