Rebecca and James planned their relaxed and intimate wedding at one of Byron Bay’s most beautiful venues - Byron View Farm.
Heavy winds and rain were predicted for their wedding day but any fears Rebecca had about her hair were relieved by TFM hairstylist Clare Moriarty who had already switched up the products to suit the conditions. Most brides would shy away from having an out style in these conditions but Clare was able to prep and cure Rebecca’s hair to hold the wave.
Clare prepped Rebecca’s hair with lots of Ouai Wave Spray. “It’s light and has no crunch but plenty of hold.” says Clare. She then set the hair with a 1 inch tong. “This tong was a little smaller than the one I used for the trial” Claire explains. “As there was lots of wind and rain that day I wanted to ensure Rebecca’s hair settled into the elements with a natural wave without it going dead straight and frizzy.” Clare finished with Oribe Dry Texture spray. “It’s perfect to break up the hair texture and allow for a soft romantic wave.”
Rebecca wore the ROSA Gown by Grace Loves Lace. “All of us immediately started crying the moment I walked out in the Grace Loves Lace gown.” Rebecca says of her dress fitting, “I knew it was the one!”
The most memorable moment of the day was the song that Rebecca walked down the aisle to. James surprised Rebecca by recording her dream song on his guitar. It was The Killers version of Elvis Presleys ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love’. Rebecca said of that moment “I’ve never felt so much love before in my life.”
